Apex Interactive Development Map

I often get asked if I know what is being built here, or there.  Or, I am asked if I have any knowledge of this or that.

As with many towns, the best place to check is the Town website.  You will find a plethora of useful information - much of which you never even knew existed.

Since I live in Apex, I find the Apex Interactive Development Map a useful tool.  I can see the entire town, see projects already developed, in the process of development, and projects awaiting approval.

Check it out for yourself here: Town of Apex Interactive Development Map

Apex NC Nature Park

The Town of Apex has a new nature park in the works.  Click here to see the master plan.

I am just so excited about this... since I personally live just a short mile away from the 'soon to be' park.  I hear that it is definitely in the works (the Town of Apex confirmed this), but we probably shouldn't see much until 2012.  Eventually, when everything is complete, it will have a baseball field & court, concession stand, gazebo, gym, open play field, playground, softball field, soccer field, sand volleyball, tennis court, boat launch, hiking trial, large shelter, parking lot, picnic shelter, restrooms and much more!

There are many neighborhoods nearby, from Scott's Mill and Cameron Park to Crockett's Ridge and the new Bella Casa collection.

Speaking of Bella Casa, Lennar just started a new phase called "Traditions at Bella Casa" with home prices starting in the low $300's.  Though, truthfully, by the time you finish with upgrades, you will most likely crest near $350k+  Bella Casa will also sport "The Manors" as well as "The Estates" - a collection of custom built homes.  Bella Casa is a short walk to the new Apex Nature Park.

I can't wait!
