About Drew
I began my professional career in real estate by buying, rehabbing, renting, and selling investment properties. I admit that I made a lot of mistakes along the way, but I also made a lot of good and profitable decisions.
My interest in real estate quickly grew, and before long, I had graduated from the School of Hard Knocks. I immediately started my career as a Wake County Realtor® with a regional real estate franchises.
However, I quickly became inhibited by the lack of freedom those ‘bull-pens’ offered. So, I amicably parted ways and never looked back!
Ludlow Real Estate Group (brokered by ESP Realty), is a Triangle real estate company specializing in residential sales, first-time homebuyers, repeat homebuyers, short sales and foreclosures in Wake County. We also specialize in commercial sales and leasing, including office & industrial and retail facilities. I am a licensed broker and member of the National Association of Realtors and the North Carolina Association of Realtors.
Although I work in real estate full-time, my life is not all roofs, walls, and basements.
Outside Real Estate
I’m a professional DJ and amateur musician/composer. My true passion is working in my home studio, composing, recording, and remixing various styles of electronic music.
As a mobile DJ since 1996 (Drew Ludlow Productions), I’ve performed at thousands of private parties in the Triangle area and beyond. Moreover, I have professional voiceover, MC services, soundtrack work, and minor film and TV appearances to my credit.
Back in the early 2000s, my inquisitive mind guided me into the manufacturing and production of The Droodle, a waterproof notepad designed to capture ideas in the shower or any wet environment. The Droodle’s success led to an in-store promotion roll-out at Bed Bath & Beyond, as well as a feature segment on NBC’s Today Show. Technology has since rendered the product obsolete, but I gained more than my fair share of life experience through the process.
I am the current President of Citizens Assisting Police in Apex (CAPA), a volunteer non-profit that serves the Apex Police Department and the Town of Apex.
I currently live in Apex with my wife, two boys and my black lab.
